Wedora ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Wedora mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Wedora, we may collect the following information:

• Account information: name, email address, and password
• Profile information: age, gender, marital status, relationship intentions, city and country, and profile photo
• Location data: approximate coordinates, used to show distance between users and enable location-based discovery
• Communications: messages you send to other users within the app
• Usage data: how you interact with the app, including likes, matches, and profile views

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Match you with other users based on your preferences
• Enable communication between matched users
• Improve and personalize your experience within the app
• Maintain the safety and integrity of our platform, including reviewing reports of misconduct

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Limited data is shared with service providers that help us operate the app, including Google Firebase (authentication, database, and messaging infrastructure) and Google AdMob (advertising, for free-tier users only). These providers are bound by their own privacy and data protection obligations.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase's cloud infrastructure, which includes industry-standard security practices. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights

You may access, update, or correct your profile information at any time through the app's Edit Profile screen. You may permanently delete your account and associated data through Account Settings within the app.

6. Children's Privacy

Wedora is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. Our age verification requires users to confirm they are 18 or older during profile setup, and this is enforced both in the app and on our servers.

7. Location Data

Location data is used solely to enable distance-based discovery features. You may deny location permission and enter your city manually instead, in which case approximate coordinates are still derived from the entered location to support this feature.

8. Third-Party Advertising

Free-tier users may see advertisements served through Google AdMob. Google may use device identifiers and other data to serve relevant ads in accordance with its own privacy policy. Premium subscribers do not see advertisements.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
